Aid

We have a long history of responding to the calls of the community. In 2013 alone, we served 800 refugees and asylum seekers in need of furniture, bedding, food, clothing, prams, strollers, car seats and bicycles for transport. Through the efforts of our volunteers and generous donors, we have been able to continue this work and collaborate with local organisations on a common mission.

Our Partners:

GIVIT – A national not-for-profit that connects councils, recovery teams, charities and local groups to donors, to serve Australians facing hardship with funds, goods or time. As a registered charity with GIVIT, we are able to organise requests for our clients and collect items from the donor.
Thread Together – A charity that redirects unsold clothing to people experiencing disadvantages or difficulties, bridging this gap and securing a more sustainable future by ensuring millions of brand-new items remain in circulation. Thread Together sends RAL 15 boxes of new clothing each year for distribution at our annual clothing giveaway, taking place in the fourth quarter of the year.
Baby Give Back – A charity that provides clothing, nappies and essentials to families undergoing financial stress, in partnership with support services. They leverage Australia’s textile waste issue to distribute quality second-hand materials alongside new items to help families rebuild. As a registered charity with GIVIT, we are able to organise requests for our clients for collection at our office.
