English Program

Language learning is widely known to open doors to a world of new opportunities. For many who flee disastrous circumstances, there are slim prospects to prepare for the journey ahead.

We believe in the importance of teaching English to refuges and asylum seekers as a key to successful settlement and social integration. This is crucial to crossing bridges such as education, employment and community participation.

Each week, President of RAL Chris Miranda, runs a class that outlines an introduction to the English language and social context of Australian culture. Under his close guidance, hundreds have been able to take steps on their language learning journey.
